The Suite Life of Zack and Cody finally got a table at the posh restaurant they wanted to dine at more than anything else in the world. For a special reason, the iconic Disney show is coming back to people’s feeds today. The two main characters had to wait 15 years to be able to enjoy a meal at the restaurant of their dreams, and finally their time has come. Fans and Disney pay tribute to the beloved show by celebrating on November 16.
Zack and Cody’s restaurant reservation is finally here
In episode 16 of the first season in 2009, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody traveled across the pond to Italy, where the boys got the chance to visit Chef Gigg’s high-end restaurant. In the episode titled When in Rome…, the two go to the establishment in hopes of getting a seat, and see who they meet except Chef Gigi! Now the conversation between the boys and Gigi is going online.
The owner said, “Can I call you at 7:30?” To which both enthusiastically respond, “Perfect!” But their hopes were dashed, the chef added, “on November 16, 2023.” Cody said in disbelief, “But it’s in 15 years!” Zack, on the other hand, tried to reassure her by jokingly asking, “What if I don’t feel like an Italian that day?” The episode ends with Jack eating dinner at the restaurant with Gigi after his twin brother is kicked out for his pranks.
Disney has joined the trend
While fans were curious about this scene from 15 years ago, Disney took notice. In a new post, the studio’s official Instagram account confirmed that Cole and Dylan Sprouse’s characters are going to claim their reservation. He posted a text screenshot of the restaurant, confirming the boys’ presence. She texted, “This is a reminder that you have a booking at Gigi’s for dinner on day 2, 11/16/2023. Your table is for 7:30pm for 2pm. Please call to confirm booking.” Reply “1” or “9”. Cancel.” The green bubble text confirms, “1.”
The twins had to wait over a decade to dine at the restaurant of their dreams, so you better believe they won’t be canceling their important appointment anytime soon. Although Cole and Dylan have not commented on the trending scene yet, it can only be assumed that the two will be heading to Rome.
