Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are making sure their son has some Halloween fun!

The “My Church” singer-songwriter shared a snippet of how she spent the holidays on her Instagram Story, which featured herself and estranged husband Heard, as well as their 3½-year-old son Hayes Andrew, trick-or-treating Showed it happened.

In the black-and-white photo posted Tuesday, Morris, 33, held her son’s hand and was smiling widely while holding a bag of candy in the other hand.

The little boy’s face was blocked out by a heart, but he could be seen wearing adorable pants that transformed into a dinosaur body and head at his waist.

While Hayes looked ready to go trick-or-treating, Morris, 36, and Hurd kept their looks casual. The “Pass It On” singer also held his son’s other hand in his and smiled brightly as he bent down for the photo.

The photo comes just weeks after Morris filed for divorce from Hurd on October 2. The Tennessee filing cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce and says the couple, who married in 2018, are separated as of the date of the filing. ,

In the month before the “Girl” singer’s divorce filing, Hurd showed support for Morris on Instagram when she announced she was leaving country music due to feeling “very, very distant” from the industry and its politics.

“She deserves not just to be tolerated, but to be celebrated,” Heard wrote at the time. “She deserves a little sunshine for the burden she has carried for every artist and fan who feels the same way.”

The pair first met in 2013, but did not start dating until December 2015. In 2017, Morris told People that they “were only friends for a few years, but there was always this writing chemistry in the room”, which eventually led to their relationship.
