Kim Kardashian Takes on Viral TikTok Trend – and of Course She Used it to Show Off Her New Makeup

The 43-year-old multihyphenate capitalised on the “of course” TikTok trend by sharing a video on the platform on Wednesday that showed off her SKKN BY KIM office. Kardashian started the almost minute-long clip off standing in a hallway lined with her magazine covers.

Entering her glam room, she saw a mannequin customised to her measurements, a giant television screen on one wall displaying her beauty campaigns, and a desk containing a three-dimensional model of “my brain and my plane.”

Products from the brand were arranged along the walls of another room. As the video came to an end, she displayed a room that she claimed was “custom Rick Owens.” Kardashian hinted at a significant announcement on the SKKN BY KIM Instagram account on Tuesday.

She begins the video by saying, “Alright, guys, so I have been reading the comments on the SKKN account, and so many of you want us to bring colour cosmetics back,” before reading messages from fans pleading with her to develop new makeup items.

“Guys, I hear you,” and blowing a kiss, the video ends with the date January 26, 2024 flashing on the screen.

In June 2022, the brand’s first collection was released. Kardashian claimed that the idea for the brand came from her diagnosis with psoriasis, an autoimmune condition that causes scaly, red, and frequently itchy patches on the skin.

“What began as a psoriasis diagnosis became the catalyst for my journey of skincare discoveries, inspiring me to learn more about my skin and how to care for it,” she stated in a press release. “Working with some of the top dermatologists and estheticians over the years has given me the incredible opportunity to learn from their expertise — and I knew I had to share my learnings.”

Fans have praised Kardashian’s shapewear line, SKIMS, in a similar manner. Celebrities like Cardi B, Kim Cattrall, Patrick, and Brittany Mahomes have all worked with the brand.

The brand announced the beginning of a multiyear partnership in a press release, stating that it will “leverage the power of basketball to generate excitement and demand.”
